Jikeleza Dance: Vission and Mission

The township can burn down but they can’t take their soul away and that is what we do in Jikeleza – we build souls and if you build a soul you cannot trample on it.

Vision

To motivate, transform and celebrate the communities of Imizamo Yethu and Hangberg by supporting their children, young people and families to create cultural and economic value, resources and opportunities.

My father he was part of the '27' prison gang so that also motivated me to change my life because I saw the live that he lead. There was always abuse, there was always danger,  but luckily I survived.
