Later in the day I took a stroll down to the bay as the light was fading. It was really brisk. Evening tide: the tide out and a cold sky clearing, the water in the rockpools breaking up the inky mass of the exposed seaweed. St Margarets Bay, Kent. Black and white and blue all over.
