14. December 2014 On Applecross Violent winter squall, Ardheslaig on the Applecross Peninsula, Scotland, 14/12/14. This was an amazing day of a piercing and cold westerly gale that brought violent squalls and fleeting winter sunshine. We snaked along the single-track road from Fearnmore to Shieldaig taking it all in. Looking towards Beinn Eighe and Lower Diabaig across Loch Torridon from the north end of the Applecross Peninsula. The beautiful, sparse silver b A rainbow as the day ebbed away into a stormy night over Loch Torridon. Looking over Eilean an Inbhire Bhain towards Camas Rhuadh near Shieldaig/Sildaig and Eilean a' Chaoil. tagPlaceholderTags: photography, Scotland, Applecross Write a comment Comments: 0
